Does it stop my phone ringing?
No, and you keep answering it. PickUp replaces your voicemail rather than your phone, so calls ring to you first exactly as they do now. Only the ones you do not pick up come to us.
What do I actually get after a call?
Who rang, what they were after and their number, written up so you can call back knowing the job before you dial.
What happens at the end of the 7 days?
You add a card and the plan you picked starts, Lite or Pro. There is no setup fee. We held no card during the trial, so nothing is charged until you choose to carry on.
What if it does not pay for itself?
On Pro, any month PickUp books less than it costs, with your divert on for at least twenty days, the next month is free. Booked jobs count at the price agreed on the call, so the number you see on your overview is the number that decides it. Lite has no guarantee.
Who do I talk to if something goes wrong?
A person, from the support button in your dashboard. Replies usually land within three hours. If something is broken we stay on it until it is fixed, and if you want a feature that would help everyone, we build it.
What if I want to cancel?
You cancel it yourself in your dashboard settings, and it takes seconds. There is nobody to ring, no form to fill in and no one trying to talk you out of it.
Will it sound like a robot?
No. It speaks in short, plain sentences at a natural pace, in the voice you choose from ten. Play them in the voices section and pick the one you would want answering for you.
Does it work with my calendar?
Yes, on Pro. Google, Outlook and Microsoft 365, and iCloud connect in a couple of taps, and most other calendars work through a calendar link. PickUp reads when you are busy and writes each booking in.
Is there an app?
Yes. Pro comes with the PickUp app for iPhone, with your calls, jobs and diary. On any phone, the dashboard also opens as a simple pocket view.
What if a caller wants to speak to me?
PickUp tells them you will ring back, gives them a time from your diary, and puts them at the top of your list with a notification.
What if my divert stops working?
PickUp notices when missed calls stop arriving and tells you the same day, with the codes to put it back for your network.
